Learning Elasticity Through Natural Interaction (RG085-11ICT)
Abstract:
One of the efficient children education methods is education with multimedia like games. In this method they educate without they actually aware to learning. Thus, the level of their understanding in this kind of methods is higher than common method. Educational games (EG) can offer many learning benefits such as motivation, engagement and fun [1]. In this paper we are going to develop a multimedia learning material for elasticity, investigate the potential of natural interaction during process of learning and recognize the gesture exhibits during learning process. This game is developed with Kinect to learn elasticity to children in primary school in age 7-12 years old. The system will detect the gesture of body and define the meaning of gesture exhibits during the learning process. The qualitative approach will be deployed to constantly monitor the interaction between the participant and the system.
