Posted by amiza on 2015/11/4 3:50:30 (63 reads)

Dear All the First Year Students,

Greetings from Task Force Committee of First-Class Honours Student Program!

We are pleased to announce that we are organizing a Motivational Talk entitled:

The Perception of Employers on First Class Honours Students

Details of the talk are as follows:

Date : 17 November 2015 (Tuesday)
Venue : Dewan Kuliah 1 (DK1), Annexe Building (Block B), Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, UM.
Time : 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m
Speaker : Dr. Martin Nemetz, Managing Director, Head of Hilti Asia IT

About the talk:

A good motivation can have positive effect on the performance of the students towards achieving First Class Degree. This will increase the reputation and image of our faculty among students and employer nationwide. In order to continuously remind us on our purposes and goals, we all need to listen to motivational talk as it is the “red bull” for our academic progress. It has been reported by several researchers in British Journal of Psychology that regular motivational talks can lead to a quality result for the benefit of both individual and organization (in current context, students and the faculty). Motivational talk enables to spark, fuel, warm, change, and satisfies the students in achieving their goal.

This talk has two main objectives which are:

(1) To inspire and uplift the motivation to study, and
(2) To expose the students the importance of achieving CGPA of 3.7 and above (first class) as a ticket to have better carrier in the future.

Important note: The attendance to this motivational talk is compulsory as the attendance will be taken. Also, you all may enjoy the lunch that are provided right after the session before your next class.

Warm regards,

Task Force Committee of First-Class Honours Student Program
